Margaritaville - It's A State of Mind

This can be a hard time of year. The holidays are over, and spring seems (actually is!) months away. Now is when otherwise reasonable people think of quitting their day job, selling the house and moving to the beach! Someplace warm and tropical, spending days with sun and surf, nights with good music and fruity drinks. Sounds pretty good about now! At least to me.

That’s the allure of Margaritaville. It’s not just a great tune by Jimmy Buffett, it’s a state of mind. It’s a place where parrots surf at high tide and sharks bask in sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts. It’s music that speaks to a universal urge to chuck it all and escape to paradise, especially now when it’s dark 14 hours a day and can physically hurt just to go outside. I had a great time designing this Margaritaville collection. I’ve always been a parrot head of sorts. And with a name like Shore I guess I have a natural attraction to the beach! But mostly this was just fun! Playful reminders of laid back dreams and days whiled away in the sun, the perfect cure for the winter blues. Take a look, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. And maybe we can all head to the beach sometime soon!
