Memorial Day Greeting 2020

Memorial Day seems somehow more meaningful this year. And at the same time there’s something missing. A lot us won’t have our traditional gatherings of family and friends. There may be fewer trips to the beach or picnics in the park. And it’s not the kid’s “unofficial” start of summer this year! School’s been out most places for months! But the gratitude we feel for the brave men and women who have sacrificed for our country and our freedoms remains the same. In fact it’s gathering new strength as we come to see the contributions of a new class of heroes. Nurses, technicians, first responders, people who care for our elderly in nursing homes, “essential workers” of every stripe. God bless them all. I hope this Memorial Day finds you and yours safe and well, and remembering the courage and commitment of all who sacrifice for us. Here’s a short video with more.
