Merry Christmas

Christmas at our house is about family, the blessing of being together. And with six kids and more grandkids than we can keep up with Jan and I are very much blessed. I love all the preparation and excitement, the shopping and wrapping and baking… the look of wonder on the kids’ faces (and sometimes on my own!). It’s great fun and being surrounded by my family makes it all the better. But it’s important (at least for me) to get away from all the hustle and bustle, to take time to think and pray and to be grateful. That’s what I find so special about Christmas Eve, after the kids have gone to bed and everything’s set up for the morning. It’s a quiet moment of beauty and promise that I treasure. My hope for you and yours is all the blessings of the Christmas season, full of the excitement and chaos that comes from celebration with family and friends. And that you get a moment or two of solitude, of peace and quiet, so you can appreciate the gifts of this special Season all the more.

God bless and Merry Christmas,
Jim Shore
