My Special Meatloaf Recipe

I love to cook. And with the world being what it is these days it’s great way for me to relax, it’s a perfect combination or regimen and experimentation that takes my mind off the cares of the world and focuses it on something important. Good food! Here’s a video of one of my favorites, meatloaf. It’s fun to make and delicious, and I believe contains most all the major food groups. Take a look and let me know what you think!

God Bless,
Jim Shore

I love meatloaf and yours looks very good. We like baked potatoes or winter squash with ours.

Great looking and tasting meatloaf, Jim!! We cook ours in a much larger casserole dish so that the sides of the meatloaf gets crispy as well. We use the same ketchup topping, with a dash of A-1 though, plus bacon over the top to crisp up. Too much? lol We also use that ketchup/brown sugar/ dash of A1 topping for chicken..SO good! Love your “thinking outside the box” ingredients too. Going to add some of those next time. And YES, please give us a tour of your home. The left overs for sandwiches are the best!! Thanks for sharing, Jim.

My father’s favorite meal was meatloaf & mashed potatoes. He would have eaten it once a week if he could. He might have since he was a fire fighter & cooked for his squad. My brother & I are the same way. Seeing this means we’re having meatloaf for dinner tomorrow night & I always make plenty because I love cold meatloaf sandwiches.

We love you and your work. We have many pieces & being from Virginia would have loved to have seen more Colonial Williamsburg pieces. We live in Winston Salem now & I hope to make it down your way some time soon. Hope you and your family stay safe and well.
